The new version is garbage and has horrible results. you’re better off sticking with the older versions of topaz video until they make some changes. i learned the hard way and ended up changing back to an version 7.0.3
Is starlight not working currently with this version? I tested with other models and they work fine, but starlight does not.
We don’t think it’s working in this version at least
No , Starllight is NOT working in this version , as it needs a extra crack.. I have thoroughly it , and the log says it “needs Authentication”
All other models seem to work fine.. but as we know starlight and the new starlight sharp are mostly what this release is all about..
I was able to get Starlight working by putting a fake auth.tpz file in the folder:
C:\ProgramData\Topaz Labs LLC\Topaz Video\models
You can just make an empty text file and rename it to “auth.tpz”. The cracked version doesn’t seem to care that the file is empty. I’ve successfully processed almost 100 videos with Starlight on this version and it looks great. Starlight Sharp might be broken through because it always looks worse than Starlight to me.
Crack doesn’t work asks for login?
Read the instructions carefully and make sure you’re pasting license file in ProgramData directory
